Only my 2 day intensive viewing of seasons 4 and 5 of Say Yes to the Dress can explain my recent obsessions and therefor concentrated posts featuring wedding dresses. I promise more variety soon but I can’t help it. After all, it is bank holiday weekend and my fiance has been struggling with man flu for the past 4 days. Its only fair I get to watch a few episodes here and there while he drools over ESPN and the French Open. He is of course banned from making ANY comments about the dresses he likes and doesn’t like. I don’t want to be swayed in any direction.
I came across Junko Yoshioka at the very beginning of my dress hunt, before I was engaged (shh!!) and just merely curious. Being a graphic designer, I am somewhat seduced by Japanese designers to begin with so I was not surprised to see beautiful gowns by this designer. MY favourite, which is the first image below, is somewhat reminiscent of a Japanese kimono with the massive bow in the back. I am also in love with the dress that has been slight coloured at the bottom. Hope you enjoy these as much as I do and for more information, make sure to check out the Junko Yoshioka website.
