A big thank you to David Pullum Photography for letting me showcase these images and congratulations to Karen and Neil on a beautiful wedding! (thanks especially for getting married at the Mandarin Oriental – I LOVE that hotel!)
A bit about the bride and groom… Karen and Neil are both doctors based London, working night shifts in one of the city’s more notorious hospitals. The two had a really special day planned, with preparations at the Manadrin to begin with, then traveling by cab the Westminster Registry Office where they were married. A London Bus then took the guests to Tom Aiken’s restaurant for a celebrity chef meal before they all went back to the Manadrin for the reception. I love the use of traditional London transport and the beautiful setting. The photos, of course, are gorgeous, and really capture the mood. I’m a big fan of the preparation shots (I think they’re my favourite!) and love David’s style of capturing certain moments with movement and transparency. I am also really loving tulips at the moment as seen in a previous post: Real Wedding – Anriette & Francois.
