I am so excited to be able to share Emma and Effi’s Tel Aviv wedding shot by the one and only Robert Burress. A quick excerpt from his blog says… “I had never shot a ‘destination’ wedding before… There were times when my mouth was just wide open in amazement. Things like overlooking the skyline of Tel Aviv and the Mediterranean sea. Wandering through Old Jaffa – a most amazing and historical religious and cultural location. Working along side two other photographers plus two videographers. Watching the videographer physically move the Rabbi and the Rabbi just went with it (if only my Vicar this coming Saturday could have seen that). The whole experience…the light, the heat, the Israeli way of doing things. All of it was just amazing.”
I really love how Robert has captured such detail in his shots and the shoe photo feels oh so Sex and the City to me. The clarity of his photos, as usual, make the whole collection even more unique and really adds to the sense of awe. With destination weddings, it is so important to capture the essence of the location in relation to the bride and groom and Robert has of course done this perfectly by incorporating the beautiful skyline and various backdrops.
Make sure to see the full post on the Shooting Hip Photography Blog here where you can see loads of other weddings Robert has posted. Enjoy and congrats to the bride and groom for such a beautiful wedding.
