OMG I AM SO EXCITED TO SHARE THESE PHOTOS!!! A HUGE thank you to the lovely and fabulous genius international wedding photographer Christine Meintjes and the equally awesome Monica Dart, plus the 10 ladies who shot my fiance and I a few weeks ago. It would be an understatement to say I was thrilled when Christine asked me to fill in for her during her London Funshop last month as her models had cancelled on her last minute and needed a couple to pose for her. I think the whole of East London heard how excited I was. I have been a fan of Christine for ages and so jumped at the chance to spend some more time with her. You can read more about Christine Meinjtes’ Funshops on her website here and also see previous workshops she has done in the past.
A brief description of the day… J and I arrived at the workshop about halfway through the first of two days. I had my makeup done while I heard Christine wrap up the end of her presentation to the girls. She spoke about her brand and how she made sure every detail of her business stayed true to her style from the albums she uses and her website / blog all the way down to the way she answers her emails. She spoke really clearly about her brand vision and how she came to become a photographer. I was super impressed with her professionalism and knowledge of her business. We then went out into Shoreditch for a few hours and shot LOADS of photos. It was so fun. I was a tad anxious, and J was more than a bit nervous as it was during rush hour and out in the middle of our neighborhood but Christine put us at ease immediately. She set up the shots quickly and gave us loads of guidance and made us feel totally comfortable. She was awesome, and the rest of the girls were too. I won’t go on forever about how much fun I had because I’m sure you can tell from the photos, but THANK YOU SO MUCH CHRISTINE!!! Make sure to check out Christine’s blog, The Pretty Blog, as well for even more wedding inspiration. (Also forgot to mention that Christine styled the entire shoot herself all the way down to hand crafting the boutonniere!) Thanks also to fab makeup artist – Catherine Parnell.
And now for a small collection of photos from some of the girls from the Funshop! Thanks so much ladies, it was so much fun!!! Make sure to click through to their personal sites for more.

OMG Alexis! These are just beautiful! My absolute faves are the ones of you in front of the bright backgrounds, like the fire station of the turquoise painted wall.
You are a natural. BEAUTIFUL!
I love the fact that all those photographers were able to put their own spin on the shots, the one of you being ‘papped’ is great fun too!
