It’s that time of year when all the leaves are falling off the trees, and staying in with a cup of hot chocolate (or mulled wine!) replaces the summer barbecues of just a few months ago. While I’m sad to see the sun go, I just love the changing colours of the trees and walking to work through massive piles of fallen leaves. The colours of autumn are so romantic and the perfect accent for a seasonal wedding. Enter the beautiful bride and groom, Kristen and David and their gorgeous wedding, shot by South Carolina based wedding photographer Richard Ellis. The two were married in the stunning St. Mary of the Angels church in Chicago, IL – just check out that ceiling!!! – with their reception at DiNolfo’s Banquets at Homer Glen. Aside from the fact that the couple is absolutely gorgeous, I’m totally digging the contemporary style group shots in the fields. I’m not normally a massive fan of the group shots, but these are down right awesome. Congrats to the happy couple and make sure to check out both Richard Ellis’ website as well as his blog for more beautiful photos.
