The hunt for the perfect wedding venue literally took over my entire life when I first got engaged. I looked high and low across the entire UK trying to find that perfect space that ticked all the boxes and made me feel like a bride. Orchardleigh Estate was definitely one of those places. With such an expansive and beautiful collection of buildings where the ceremony and reception could be held along with places for guests to stay, it is massively dreamy, romantic and quintessentially English. When I saw this wedding on Allister Freeman’s site, I had to feature it immediately. How beautiful are these photos? Not only is the scenery gorgeous (and totally snowy) but the photos of the bride and groom getting ready are really some of my favourites. Maybe its the anticipation of what’s to come or the super cute shots of brides putting on their gowns, but I just LOVE them.
The bride and groom, Adele and Daniel, had a small and intimate candlelit service in the chapel located on the estate and then the remainder of the event back at the main house. Congrats to the happy couple and make sure to check out Allister Freeman’s website and blog for more info.
