OMG I am so very excited to be featuring amazingly talented wedding photographer Joanna Brown of Browns Photography on the blog this afternoon! I’ve admired Joanna’s work for quite some time now, after discovering her for the first time on (where else?) Rockn’Roll Bride and think this engagement shoot is the absolute bomb. The bride and groom decided to have their photos taken in Kew Gardens which was one of the first places I visited when I moved to London. I can’t actually describe my excitement when I saw my first peacock in person and have been dying to go back ever since. Its such a beautiful place and I love how it transports you into some crazy jungle like environment even though its technically in London!
Joanna said “We walked and chatted and discovered a host of flowers, glass houses, nooks and crannies, hidden paths and an ice cream van. This really was perfect location to shoot in and Mark & Kathy you were totally brilliant even when you were sweltering in the glass houses and I was jumping around going oh, just one last one, oh maybe just one more.” Awesome. There’s something so subtly sweet about Kathy’s bright red necklace that I love and the massive leafy backgrounds are to die for.
Thanks so much to Joanna Brown for sharing these photos and make sure to check out her website and blog for more details and also have a look at this great guest post she wrote for Rockn’ Roll Bride on “how to get the best out of your engagement shoot.”
