So I don’t know exactly where to start when it comes to LUXE City Guides. I am pretty much OBSESSED with the design of these chic little books and the covers are serious my idea of graphic design heaven. This is of course before you even open them. Filled to the brim with classy tips and tricks on the best hotels, restaurants, cafes and shops, you cannot go wrong when it comes to visiting a city for the first time. It’s like a little box of secrets that only the most fabulous people know about. Honestly, I feel cooler just having one in my pocket. And, not only do these offer great gifts (for yourself or friends) but they also have a customised wedding service where you can order a city specific guide for destination weddings. Wouldn’t these be a perfect gift for your guests?
Anyway, I am pretty excited to be able to offer 2 very lucky OMG readers free LUXE City Guides to a destination of your choice! All you have to do is leave a comment on the blog about why you’d like to visit a particular city documented by the brand (check out the website for more details) and the winners will be announced first thing Monday morning of next week. How’s that for some midweek excitement?
Make sure to check out the LUXE City Guide website for more details and leave a comment NOW!!

Ah these are GORGEOUS!
I would love to get my mits on a copy for San Francisco – the almost-husband and I had been discussing possible honeymoon locations for a while but after stopping by SF on our way to New Zealand for a couple of days, we decided we HAD to come back and see the city properly – we fell completely in love with the laid-back vibe of the place and cannot WAIT to explore more!
It would be wonderful to have a litle book of awesome-ness to help us on our first trip as a married couple *SCREAM*
Immense competition – thank you for sharing!XXX
Ok, so I don’t often admit this, I AM A CONTROL FREAK. There I said it. I’m not married yet and already I have started planning our 1st anniversary! We have always wanted to visit a real continental Christmas market, so we have settled on Berlin. There’s more than one market, so there should be enough to buy everyone’s gifts plus I’ve heard the shopping in Berlin is excellent so I can find a treat for me while my husband can sample some local brews! The Luxe Guide to Berlin would make sure that I get to visit the best shops and he gets to visit the best bars! It’s win win all round! (Also have the guide now would allow me plenty of time to indulge in planning!)
WOW, amazing books, so kitsch (or maybe not having double checked the meaning on Wikipedia) and it says ‘Kitsch is a form of art that is considered an inferior, tasteless copy of an extant style of art or a worthless imitation of art of recognized value. … MOST DEFINATELY not true for these books.
Barcelona is my favourite place in Europe so would love to win the one for there….. am pretty sure there are areas there i’ve not seen and must see, therefore this book is a must. Oh, and if you can’t run to letting me win one, I will just have to go out and buy it anyway!
My wife and I will be heading to the city that never sleeps next week and since there will be no sleeping, there will be a lot of doing. The LUXE guide would give us a heads up on places that even our local friends don’t know about.
I remember when LUXE first started and they only covered a select few cities, I bought my parents, who live in Barcelona, a copy and they were amazing that their local knowledge had been surpassed by LUXE in their own city!
How do they do it?!?!
Oh to have a copy of new york. We’re yet to honeymoon and we would love to sample the chic delights (with a little help).
I am in the midst of planning our honeymoon to Java & Bali & would love to get my hands on a Luxe City Guide to Bali. I am notorious amongst my circle of friends for turning up on holiday with lists and lists of must-do’s, must-sees and must-eats & it would be amazing to have someone else do all the research and list-compiling for me this time!
Would love a copy of LA as we’re planning on driving the west coast on honeymoon! I LOVE the luxe guides – they are totally the best, when we were in Phuket we did a day trip to Phuket Town and followed step by step the walking tour in the luxe guide. SO glad we did as it managed to find loads of little chic shops and cafes that there is NO WAY we would have any chance of finding without it!
Rachie xo
I would love to get the Paris one – I want to visit Paris bc it is the one city that I have always wanted to visit. I ran out of time when I was studying abroad but I would really like to go for our honeymoon. It is such a romantic city with cafes and art and history.
Paris. The city of love. Enough said
wow what stunning little books!
I’d love to have the Tokyo one because we’re going there on our honeymoon. It would be great to have such a pretty book to take with us that can be kept with all our keepsakes & memories when we get back.
Keeping my fingers crossed! x
OMG, such beautiful covers!!! and the amazing choice of cities is making it hard for me to just pick one!!! I will have to go with Amsterdam, such a HIP city!!
I’d love a copy.. *sighs* but alas when I get to the airport on Sunday 4th Sept, I have absolutely no idea where I am going!. Shame – they look lush!
x
I would love to win a New York guidebook!
I have just booked a trip to NYC with my girlfriends as a bit of a hen do/birthday celebration for next February. Its the first time my best friends and I have been together for 10 years, and its the last time we have time together before we all go off and become all grown up and get married, start families, etc and we want to make sure its the best experience and I think the Luxe guide will do this for us.
I have previously only ever used Lonely Planet and am absolutely delighted to discover Luxe – so beautiful, stylish and so useful. A really lovely keepsake from a trip whilst also looking fab ont eh bookshelf!
Thanks!
Wow i would so love the Istanbul book, its been our dream destination for years now. We’re so busy saving for the wedding the plan is to go on honeymoon about a year later once we have chance to save some more! I adore the covers, so beautiful to carry around!
The Rome guide would perhaps give me the chance to re-enact some of Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday…
‘Audrey: I could do some of the things I’ve always wanted to.
Joe: Like what?
Audrey: Oh, you can’t imagine. I’d do just whatever I liked all day long.’
Roma, bellisimo.
Rome-Hopefully we can have our real honeymoon there
My fiance and I both studied German at university but have never been to Germany together before. We’d love to visit Berlin on our honeymoon because there are so many exciting places of history to visit that were central to our studies and we’d be able to be geeky and big German fans together! Plus we wouldn’t have any problems with the language, which would be handy if we get lost due to strolling along looking into each others eyes and not paying any attention to where we are going…..
