Good evening everyone! Hope you’re having a lovely week and preparing for the winter holidays. I have yet another fabulous addition to the OMG sponsor family to introduce you to, today’s its all about the lovely Hannah Mia! When I read Hannah’s about me page on her blog, I knew immiediately we were a match made in wedding blog heaven. She says “I like big hair, sugary drinks, music festivals and the idea of owning a micro pig. I read more wedding blogs than the most obsessive bride and I really want to know what your first dance song is..” Uhm. Can we hang out immediately? MICRO PIG?!?! YES. Hannah is a fab photographer based in St Albans and here is a bit more about the lady behind the lens…
1. OMG Tell us a bit about yourself?Good evening
Hello! My name is Hannah. I’m a documentary style wedding photographer based in St Albans and cover weddings across the UK (and further afield!). Photography is my passion, I knew as soon as I held my first camera that it was something I wanted to do forever – in particular capturing beauty and emotion in people. I’m a terrible romantic and always feel so honoured to be invited to share in all the happiness of my clients big days.
2. Describe yourself in 3 words
Friendly. Creative. Dedicated.
3. What do you wish all couples knew about you?
I get completely wrapped up in the emotion and importance of your day and generally shed a few discrete tears during the speeches or first dance. I can’t help myself!
4. If you could give brides 1 tip, what would it be?
Practise sitting down in your dress!
5. If you could give grooms 1 tip, what would it be?
Take a minute for just the two of you during the day – there’s so much going on that couples seem to hardly spend any time together!
6. Any wedding / wedding industry pet peeves?
When the registrar/vicar/whoever doesn’t announce the first kiss – that’s the big cinematic moment, it deserves the classic “you may now kiss the bride.”
7. Where do you see your business in –
1 month – editing the gorgeous winter wedding I just photographed and meeting lots of lovely couples over coffee to talk through their weddings.
1 year – having another successful year under my belt and near enough all booked up for 2013.
5 years – having a solid reputation across the UK and my own office, complete with micro-pig companion!
8. Anything else you want to share?
I love to chat, so whether you want to meet for a drink or just ask me a few questions, get in touch (firstname.lastname@example.org)!Make sure to head on over to to Hannah Mia’s website for more details and lovelyness.
