A Red Lipped & Ravishing, Hollywood Inspired Bridal Shoot

Hello OMG readers! Hope you all are having a good first week back at work. Today I have a luxurious Hollywood inspired styled bridal shoot put together by some fabulous collaborators  and  photographer Neda, who came up with the idea after having a good old fashioned girlie cup of coffee with some newly engaged friends. The conversation naturally turned to weddings and Neda decided to enlist the help of Kate from Kate Edmondson Bridal and stick to the formula of Date + Dress + Venue for her project. Deciding on The Hampshire Hog whilst dining there with her husband, Neda knew the surroundings would be perfect from the beautiful gilded mirrors and outdoor area to all the little nick-nacks lying around. Here is a bit more about the shoot from Neda:

“A lot of brides would benefit from meeting someone like Kate who understands the female shape and style to go with each bride and will tailor accordingly – that to me feels very special. Kate provides a bespoke service for wedding dresses and accessories using luxury silks satins and laces. She draws inspiration from her love for the Hollywood glamour era. I knew Kate’s passion for the cut and the fit for her dresses were meticulous and it was evident before the dress even came off the hanger – swoon!”

“The cherry on the cake was ever so helpful and diligently hardworking Eleanor Thomson, our very talented Hair & Makeup artist. With years of experience, it was clear Eleanor understood what I was after and gave valuable input and advice on the styles, to match dresses and the headpieces. She worked so well with all the details and made sure it all went smoothly and on time as we had a tight deadline to meet. It also helped immensely that she is so darn likeable and easy to work with – a smile and friendly attitude goes a long way in my books.”

“Our Cake Whipper extraordinaire who provided the gorgeous wedding cakes and cupcakes was Abigail from Abigail Loves Cake. It was a delight to photograph Abigail’s delicious cakes and equally pleasurable to devour them. For a bride who wants well-made and uniquely hers cake design Abigail
is certainly the person to speak to!”

“A big hug goes to the girlies, Filippa Holmstrom and Julia Kuczera were our beautiful models on the day, arriving smiley and helped throughout the day. We all had a giggle and worked together to get most out of the day.”

Lastly, the gorgeous jewellery was supplied by the lovely AliFaye Jewellery.

I felt very lucky, as I was working with an excellent bunch of people who all wanted each other’s success. It is a fab feeling when you find a group of people who literally aiming at the same goal working together to get it smoothly delivered. I hope this inspiration shoot encourages those brides and grooms who are afraid to complicate things and take the fun out of planning the big day. Things can be done elegantly, with unique touches to reflect personalities added by working (and trusting) professionals in the trade who want nothing else but making your day wonderful.” Amen.
