Good evening lovely OMG readers, hope you’re having a fab week so far. Today’s wedding features someone you might recognise – British tennis pro Colin Fleming and his gorgeous wife Gemma! Shot by Alan Hutchison Photography, this couple’s wintery December wedding took place at Balbirnie House in Markinch, Fife and was based around a beautiful theme of roses due to the fact that the grandfather of the bride was a rose grower in Aberdeen. This alone makes me feel fuzzy inside as each table was named after a different type of rose and then accented with berries, holly, gold and red accents. Gorge. And very sentimental. Gemma wore a beautiful dress by Sasha Perez and Colin wore his own Kilt from Kapital Kilts in Linlithgow.
Guests received christmas baubles as a gift and last but not least, the couple raised money for Help For Heroes Gemma’s brother is in the RAF and just back from service in Afghanistan.
Advice from bride:
Make sure that a few close people know how you both would like the day to look so that you can completely relax and enjoy the best day of your life!
None! Loved it all!
The venue. The staff especially Meghan and Kenneth were fabulous. Their attention to detail was superb, our day flowed seamlessly, and we wouldn’t have changed a thing. Now all they need to learn to do is make the day last longer!!
I love all the photos that Alan has managed to capture showing Gemma laughing, they’re so genuine and of course, she looks absolutely stunning. I also can confirm I have the same photo of my now husband with his head in his hands during which I can only imagine is the best man’s speech. Classic.
Thanks so much to Alan Hutchison Photography for sharing such a beautiful wedding and congrats to happy couple!
