TGIF everyone! I’ve got the best way possible to end your week – a gorgeous styled bridal shoot by some of my favourite people all beautifully captured by the fabulous Lisa Carpenter featuring a gorgeous model, Robyn, whom I met last year at the Designer Vintage Bridal Show.
The starting point for the shoot was in effort to promote new wedding venue, the Blue Piano, which just opened in Birmingham in November of last year. Already a success with diners the venue also boasts a great space for a wedding reception venue and can I please just say that they do, in fact, have a fabulously bright blue piano on site. Owner Siew Kuan is from Singapore and most of her recipes have been handed down from her late mother ensuring the cuisine is authentic and fantastic. Additional inspiration has come from her trip with her husband and co-owner Peter to Malaysia and Cambodia.
Things I love about this shoot include the awesome contemporary styling on a traditional concept, the gorgeous contrast between the white of the wedding dresses and the uber modern blue piano and the stunning set up of the wintery, birdcage clad room in whim Robyn seems to live an ethereal brial life. Gorgeous.
Last but not certainly not least, the venue in association with The Wedding Club will be hosting The Boutique Bridal Exhibition on Sunday 25 March 12-4pm. Admission is free but spaces are limited, so please pre-register via email to theweddingclub@btinternet.com. There will be 2 gorgeous fashion shows at 1 & 3pm, showcasing gowns by top designers Jenny Packham, Temperley London, Manuel Mota, Elie Saab, Matthew Williamson, Pronovias, Two Birds & Jasper Garvida. For details of how to exhibit, please call Clare on 0121 440 8276 or email theweddingclub@btinternet.com. SOUND AWESOME.
Now sit back and enjoy the shoot.
