OMG. It’s the Designer Wedding Show next weekend! How exciting! I can say hands down that this show was the most influential in some of my wedding decisions and was the best way to kick off my search for a dress. I also attended the show 2 years ago as my best friend’s maid of honour who found it equally helpful in seeing loads of different suppliers at once when making choices for her wedding. Not only is there a catwalk show featuring the latest collections from the likes of Sassi Holford, Temperley London, Matthew Williamson, Pronovias, Valentino, and Ritva Westenius, but there are close to 130 suppliers handpicked to attend covering every single aspect of planning a wedding that you can imagine. If you’re feeling overwhwelmed by all the things you know you need to start looking into, this is the best, and most fabulous way to start.

I have been engaged for nearly a year now and I think it’s time the MOB and I check out a wedding show – this was looks great!
I’m beginning to feel a little dazed by colour schemes, venues, my dress, my bridesmaid’s dresses (although J.Crew is a bookmarked favourite!) so it would be fab to have a girly wedding day and get some great ideas.
The thought of seeing a Pronovias dress is pretty exciting too!

At the moment I’m obsessed with flowers and decorations so to go to the show and get some designer inspiration would be fabulous. My better half and I are getting marred in September and we’re busy planning a destination wedding without a coordinator (eek). A show like this will really help both of us refine the vision for the day and hopefully help us navigate through the logistical complications from planning abroad! well, i love a good wedding show, me! having my hair done, eating lots of cake, looking at lovely dresses….and it’s not even me getting married! it’s my mate cathy, but i’m getting all the benefits and none of the pain (ie. a husband for life lol!!)
