1930’s Vintage Train Engagement Shoot – Jean & Sam

Good morning OMG readers, boy do I have a beautiful engagement shoot to share with you today! Expertly shot by Kristin and Steven of Photomuse, this bride and groom chose a vintage train in the NYC Transit Museum as the backdrop for their photos.

A bit about the gorgeous couple… Jean and Sam are both part of the Foreign Service. Jean is currently stationed in Tijuana, Mexico and Sam in Shanghai, China. They are both travelers so a session that incorporated a sense of journey and travel was important to them. Kristin said “Jean had her heart set on a session that took place on a vintage train and we were lucky to be able to shoot at the NYC Transit Museum to accomplish this. We also shot in Red Hook, Brooklyn where there is an abandoned trolley car.” How awesome is that? But wait, it gets even better. The couple had their engagement shoot on the 7th of October and then the two eloped in a small ceremony in Central Park on the 8th! And if that doesn’t feel like a romantic movie to you, the day after their marriage found them both on separate planes heading back to their separate assignments across the world from one another. Their next assignment will eventually bring them together permanently. *sigh*
Thanks so much to Kristin Reimer and Steven Fontas of Photomuse for sharing this super sigh worthy engagement shoot!
