Good afternoon OMG readers and a big hello and welcome to a new sponsor, Artcadia Stationery! Offering some gorgeous print and letterpress options for the modern bride and groom, these guys are a fab choice for the design conscious bride and groom. Have a read below to get to know a little more about them and happy browsing!
Tell us a bit about yourself?
We are a stationery and letterpress printing studio, born in 2009 and based in Shropshire. We’re very small, just me and my husband Richard, however we work with brides from all across the globe.
Our ranges feature my own design work, illustrations and hand lettering. Richard is an expert in the field of letterpress printing so jointly we offer unique and high quality wedding stationery, invitations, and custom artwork.
Having scoured the UK for the best paper stock, we’re proud to present our design work on beautifully textured, heavyweight paper stock for our ‘colourful digital’ lines and 100% cotton, plush and squishy paper stock for our ‘luxurious letterpress’ collection. We take great care in choosing our papers and printing methods to ensure our artwork comes to life in a way that’s heart warming, robust, and beautiful.
Describe yourself in 3 words
Eclectic, Committed, Passionate
What do you wish all couples knew about you?
We’d like all couples out there to know that we can create paper products which will be personal to them, impress their guests and will make a very beautiful addition to their wedding keepsakes. We like to think of our stationery as little works of art, so they can be cherished for years to come.
If you could give brides 1 tip, what would it be?
Our tip for brides would be to delegate wedding duties to you fiance, bridesmaids, or family members. There’s so much work to take on yourself and the stress of wedding planning take its toll on the romance of the affair!
If you could give grooms 1 tip, what would it be?
Our top tip for grooms would be to include as many lovely compliments about your bride into your wedding speech as possible! We attended a wedding in January where the bride was a little cheesed off that the grooms speech was somewhat lacking in flattery, this resulted in a rather frosty 1st dance!
Any wedding / wedding industry pet peeves?
From a stationery perspective, our wedding peeve would be handwriting guest names on beautiful wedding stationery. Instead, source a calligrapher that can inscribe your guest names. If you cannot budget for a calligrapher, address guests on the envelopes with your best handwriting. Better yet, print labels. Nothing kills wedding stationery more than a biro!
