Hauntingly Beautiful Styled Wedding Shoot with a Black Wedding Dress at Cowdray Ruins

Good afternoon OMG readers! I have the most stylish of styled shoots to share with you today thanks very much to Bea and Jude of EFC photography. I think it literally took me like 5 days to narrow down the shots I wanted to share with you from this totally gorgeous selection of photos because they are all so damn good! Bea and Jude said they wanted combine a simple styled shoot with a whole lot of drama and armed themselves with the gorgeous black Suzanne Neville dress seen below and an equally equisite white wedding dress from Sandra O’Grady Couture alongside some incredible pieces by millinery wizard Edwina Ibbotson, who even designed a piece specifically for the day. Combined with gorgeous flowers from Bloom Ripley, hair by Sharon Roberts of Wonderful Wedding Hair and makeup by Sonia Sondhi, they were ready to go an shoot at the totally awesome grounds of Cowdray Castle.

Jude said “our overall vision for the day was to be one of haunting beauty, not gothic or ‘Twilight.'” Isn’t it incredible?! I just love the contrast between the flowing dresses and the rugged feel of the brick walls, the bright red against the white and the crazy spooky but elegant feel that the black dress and all it’s details creates against the crumbling rock in the background. Not to mention the gorgeous model, of course. I hope you enjoy this shoot as much as I had, its the perfect balance between mystery and beauty and definitely one of my favourites to date!
