A Beautiful Pink and Purple Pembroke Lodge Wedding – Harriet & Joe

Good morning OMG readers, I have a beautiful pink and purple wedding shot by none other than the fabulous Sean Gannon of Energy Photographic! The featured couple, Harriet and Joe, were married at Richmond Park’s Pembroke Lodge, a venue I have personally been to for a close friend’s wedding, and absolutely LOVE. The space itself is beautiful and the view of the park outside is utterly to die for. So romantic and perfect for portraits.

Harriet and Joe were married in September of last year and decided to have just a mish mash of all the things they loved, a wedding themed “just them” which included a colourful mix of pink and purple decor details provided by one of my favourite florists, Wild About Flowers. Harriet’s gorgeous dress was from the Vintage Wedding Dress Company and her bridesmaids wore pieces from Coast.

Advice from the bride
Do a speech. I found it so nerve racking but do not regret it one bit. It was nice to have my say and thank everyone as a group and I am so glad I had the chance ( helps if the groom is a bit of an easy target) – go for it!

no regrets, we are still happily married!

Best decision made?
I have to say the photos. I look at them all the time! We definitely went with the right chap and they just couldn’t be more perfect. They are exactly how I remember the day.

Sean of Energy Photographic says “If there is ever an endorsement for online dating then Harriet and Joe are it. They are so well matched and had such a fantastic day. Harriet was so relaxed when getting ready at home before being driven to Pembroke Lodge in a Classic Volkswagen Karmann Ghia. I have never seen guests relax so quickly at a wedding, the atmosphere was great. After dinner, the variety of speeches kept everyone amused. Harriet and her ‘best lady’ broke slightly with tradition by speaking and got some of the biggest laughs.”

Make sure to head on over to the Energy Photographic website for more details and enjoy!
