A Bright Yellow Modern Daffodil Spring Wedding – Barry & Jody

Good morning everyone, hope you are thoroughly enjoying the bank holiday Monday! I have a bright and sunny spring time wedding to share with you today thanks to the lovely Rebecca Lindon of Deville Photography.

Barry and Jody were married earlier this spring at Dodmoor House in Northamptonshire. The two decided to have a springtastic daffodil yellow and blue colour palette with gorgeous modern centerpieces that actually hung from the ceilings combined in fabulous brown baskets by Pink Peony. These were complimented marveoulously by a bunch of fresh daffodils handgrown by a family member placed in jars on each table.

Jody’s dress was a beautiful Sophia Tolli gown with some really beautiful beaded detailing on the back. She accesorized this with satin shoes from Belle.

Advice from the Bride:
Enjoy it! You’ve spent months planning every little detail so now is the time to let everyone else put it into action for you on the day and you can just focus on savouring every second. The day goes by so quickly so take a step back every now & then to soak up everything that is happening around you and take picture memories in your mind.

Any regrets?
No, it truly was the best day of our lives.

Best decision made:
Giving a friend a camcorder and asking him to capture as much of the day on film as possible; being able to watch the ceremony, speeches and first dance again is priceless and it will be amazing to share it with our own children one day.
