Hello everyone, hope your weekend is going well and you’re having a lazy Sunday afternoon. I have a quirky and unique engagement shoot to share with you today thanks very much to Hannah Millard Photography.
Hannah says “I think it’s really important for an engagement shoot to suit a couple and I’m always up for shooting in different places so when Vic and Josh suggested a museum shoot I was VERY excited. We had loads of fun finding spots for photos, I love the variety that we were able to find at Manchester museum. The stunning paper birds, the planets hanging from the ceiling and THAT t-rex… there was so much to work with – I was in my element! After lots of fun at the museum we decided to go and get a drink and stopped on the way for photos outside, finally ending up in Big Hands where we rounded off the shoot with some Belle & Sebastian playing cards, wedding chat and beer.”
Awesome. I am an absolute sucker for cool engagement shoots and I love love LOVE the idea of shooting in a museum. If it suits your personality as a couple, museums and galleries are perfect because they not only provide loads of different options for back drops, but they often have good lighting and are weather proof for those of you who live in London and fear the rain like me. My favourite pictures have to be the ones with Josh and Vic posing in front of the big T-Rex fossil – not really something you would be able to achieve in a grassy meadow.
