Salvaged From Ships – Justin Duance Alternative Wedding Rings + Engagement Rings

Good morning and happy weekend everyone! I have a really cool designer to introduce you today. Experienced jeweler and silversmith Justin Duance is based in an old converted sail loft in the fishing village of Newly, Cornwall where he hand-crafts a beautiful collection of engagement and weddings rings inspired by the natural environment.

Justin cleverly combines recycled woods salvaged from hundred year old Cornish sailing ships and previous metals, resulting in eco chic pieces, each of which is unique in it’s grain and quality. He also has a new sand cast range which have a slight sandy texture to the surface.

Justin says: “We often get asked how we fit the wood in the precious metal, well that’s a trade secret but rest assured the wood is perfectly durable and because it isn’t attached to the metal it can be worn in water or anywhere and it will stay put.”

For more information, have a look at the Justin Duance website.

And last but not least, it is Justin’s birthday today, so happy birthday Justin! Hope you have a lovely weekend 🙂
