You might be able to tell by the features I am loving at the moment that I’m a little bit more than desperate for a sunny holiday! Something about the beautiful beaches and bright blue skies of today’s feature is making me wish summer was here just that little bit more. Today’s wedding was captured by Gypsy Photography on the beaches of Ibiza at El Chiringuito in Cala Gracioneta. What used to be a tiny little beach shack is now super cool restaurant and wedding venue called Cafe Mambo, perfect for a gorgeous party with access to the beach and woodlands that surround it.
Today’s couple, Joy and Anthony, were engaged in Ibiza and decided to have their wedding there as well. With an overall colour palette of vintage pink and cream, this wedding looks like it was the ultimate summer event. Joy’s dress was by La Sposa, and her bridesmaids looked gorgeous in their pink Dessy dresses, while Anthony matched in his grey suit from M&S.
All of the decor fit the theme perfectly with driftwood signage and with chalk-written table names accented with pink and white roses. I am OBSESSED with Joy’s gorgeous handmade headpiece and arm-cuff made by her bridesmaid Anja Bebbington which was made especially for the day.
Advice from the Bride:
Having the service of Lucy our wedding planner included in the venue price was fantastic and made life so easy, especially as we were getting married abroad. I would definitely recommend getting married in the sunshine!
Best decision made:
To get married in Ibiza…it’s our favourite place and holds so many special memories for us, including getting engaged on a boat by Es Vedra in 2007. We were so lucky that so many of our family and friends came over to share our special day with us in the sunshine…it was perfect.
