OMG Hooray. New Belle & Bunty beauties have arrived! For those of you who have followed OMG for a while now, you will know I have a massive fashion crush on design duo Alice and Hannah – the brains and beauty behind Belle & Bunty! If you had any doubts, you can just count the number of likes that belong to me on their instagram feed which is my daily obsession. These girls are awesometown and have recently won the title of Bridal Designers Of The Year by the Tailored Bridal Awards (congrats ladies!) which was very well deserved. These two definitely understand the female figure and make some of the most beautiful, glamourous (and flattering!) gowns I’ve seen. They just get how women want to look and feel and continue to come up with gorgeous new pieces. Love love love.
Today’s feature brings you the new collection for Spring / Summer 2013 with some new silhouettes and colours as well as some updates to existing best sellers. In keeping with the brands core aesthetic of understated elegance, the latest additions inject an infusion of pure glamour, inspired by the best of bygone eras whilst continuing the brands modern take on the ‘vintage feel’. OMG. I LOVE THEM and bring on a beautiful new shade of rosey blushy pink.
New styles include: The Pearly, The Ariel, The Mae, The Darcey and The Hattie. An array of beautiful silks are used in every design to create a luxurious feel against the body for an unequalled drape. Handcrafted embellishments inspired by nature include the exquisite Lotus Flower Swarovski beaded corsage and the delicate chiffon and pearl Daisy corsage. These bespoke embroideries can be manipulated in the Belle & Bunty workshop to the differing desires of the bride adding a unique element to each of their dresses. Can we also please talk about the awesome headpiece below? WANT IT.
The collection is available to order throughout the year at the Belle & Bunty Boutique in London, as well as select boutiques throughout the UK. Appointments in the super friendly London boutique are informal and relaxed and prices range from £1200 to £1800, aiming to be aspirational but affordable. If the Belle & Bunty style is lush enough for the likes of Victoria Beckham, Fearne Cotton, and Nicola Roberts, then it’s definitely good enough for me! Last but not least, another thing I love about this fashion forward label, is the fact that the gorgeous gowns are lovingly made in England. Go girls.
And last but not least, see these beauties in action in this behind the scenes video from the shoot.
