OMG the amazing Wedding Magazine Event for Brides!

A few weeks ago I had the absolute pleasure of attending a Wedding Magazine reader event choc full of awesome suppliers, many of whom I had been dying to meet for ages. Held at the gorgeous One Marylebone, the whole evening was geared towards introducing brides to the wedding industry finest showcasing the coolest cakes, quirkiest styling, most fabulous dresses and so much more. This is of course whilst being pampered with champagne, sweets, music and a chance to get your hair done.

So. Where to start… If you know me at all, you know I absolutely LOVE cake and having featured the gorgeous Cakes by Krishanthi previously on OMG, I was literally beside myself when I got to meet her in person and see the newest pieces from the collection.

Also on my radar on the night were the lovely ladies of wedding planning boutique Emma and Sam of Hawkes & Hughes whom I met a year ago (almost to date) at the Niemierko Academy. Since then, these two have set up shop in London and have loads to offer in terms of styling for your big day. (More on them later this month!)

Another favourite of mine was the ever innovative Cutture with their latest laser cut creations which never fail to baffle me. Not only do these guys do invitations and wedding stationery but they have branched out into larger pieces like altar backdrops and decorative elements for spaces. I LOVE THEM!!!

Next up, you can’t really have a wedding event unless you have a bit of fashion candy, so there was of course a beautiful showing of Jesus Peiro‘s new collection which is being stocked at Morgan Davies in London, the ever popular gowns from Two Birds Bridesmaids, menswear covered by Reiss and some totally gorgeous statement wedding accessories by Victoria Fergusson.

And last but not least, I absolutely ADORED the styling of 3 different tables for your perfect reception inspiration. Put together by Something Blue PR – the co-hosts of the evening – I really loved the fresh new ideas each table presented.

The whole event was captured beautifully by Catherine Mead (aside from a few of my dodgy instagrams!)

Thanks so much to both Wedding Magazine and Something Blue PR for having me and for a fantastic evening!
