Introducing the Halfpenny Wedding Dress Collections

OMG. Exciting news. Bridal and ready-to-wear designer Kate Halfpenny has officially launched her first flagship store in Bloomsbury’s Woburn Walk. The boutique has been designed with sparkling mid-century glass chandeliers and antique furniture creating a beautifully romantic scene for trying on wedding dresses. Brides enter on the ground floor salon and can take a trip downstairs to view the design studio and couture atelier, where on site fitting and alterations take place.

Kate has experience that most would kill for – working with the likes of Rihanna and Kate Moss (OMG!) creating gowns for fab events like the Bafta’s and the British Fashion Awards, and she also attended my old stomping grounds, Central St. Martins (Can we be besties now pls?)

With a range of wedding dresses ticking pretty much every box – ready to wear, bespoke and semi-bespoke, Halfpenny also carries a small collection of vintage pieces. Killer.

I often speak to brides about their dress hunt excursions, and aside from the styles they try on, the next biggest thing that tends to influence them is the experience – the feeling a bride has when she walks into a particular place and wants to become the girl who lives there. It seems the lovely Kate Halfpenny has provided just the place to fall in love with her brand. Can’t wait to visit!

Make sure to head on over to the Halfpenny London website for more details and enjoy!
