Good morning and welcome to the weekend! Today’s engagement shoot is a lovely romantic set of photos from Wedding Light Photography featuring soon to be wed couple Anthony & Pamela. The two met at an interview for an RA role (resident assistant on campus) and they both ended up working in the same dorm on the same floor! Clearly it was meant to be. Following the time they spent working together Anthony went and worked in the Peace Corps for 2.5 years, which meant the two spent a good amount of time on skype and of course travelling when they could. 5 Years later Anthony proposed to Pamela on their old campus during a “campus tour” and she said yes! Since then they have been planning their September wedding which is now only a few weeks away!
Pamela and Anthony decided on Paris for their engagement shoot and could not be more happy with the results. Pamela says “the Idea of a Paris Engagement session started as a joke. We’d already planned to go away midway through the engagement, and when we decided on Paris, I joked that it would be nice to have our engagement photos there. It’s not only the city of love, but has so much character and fits perfectly as the backdrop to our 1920s Great Gatsby themed wedding.”
“That night, I kept thinking how unique that would be, and by the weekend I had started to research wedding photographers. I found Wedding Light Photography, and I Loved how natural and beautiful every shot was. I knew I had found the photographer for our shoot. Olivier and the entire team at Wedding Light were amazing to work with. He was so easy to talk to and I put both of us at ease on the day of the shoot, making us feel as though we were in our living room taking photos and not among the crowds in Paris. We both LOVED working with him and cannot say enough about the professionalism, talent and enthusiasm Olivier and the entire staff have…. they even went as far as recommending hotels and restaurants to us without us asking.”
I really love how Olivier was able to capture these two in a very natural way while creating some really beautiful compositions using the architectural details in the background. Make sure to head on over to the Wedding Light Photography website and enjoy!
