Oh hello super chic cufflinks! Today’s feature is a designer update from luxury cufflinks brand Alice Made This. Featured previously on OMG when the first collection came out, I am now pleased to share with you the newest pieces from the Ropework collection which consists of handmade, marine inspired, stopper knot cufflinks. The hand braided, knotted cufflinks comprise of four complex use, decorative stopper knots, developed with British ropemakers in East Anglia. Available in twelve shape and colourway variations, the cufflink designs are produced in small batches each bearing the batch run number and ropemaker code on its box.
Also featured below is the newest collection of metal cufflinks entitled Precision Turned Metal, Knurled & Refined. These pieces are an extension to the original collection Precision Turned Metal with base components of stainless steel, brass and copper. The Precision Turned Metal, Knurled cufflinks demonstrate refined silhouettes, reflective in quality with a diamond-knurled finish. The knurling process is predominantly used to form grip sections, in high tolerance parts used in the engineering and aerospace industries. Knurling is a manufacturing process, conducted on a lathe, whereby a diamond-shaped (criss-cross) pattern is cut or rolled into metal. The result is exquisite, clean and minimal. Perfect for the modern groom.
The following pieces were shown at the Mens Collections earlier this year. Make sure to head on over to the Alice Made This website for more details and keep your eyes peeled for when these new bad boys will be available to purchase!
