An Art Deco 1930’s Northern English Countryside Wedding – Paul & Jonny

Good afternoon and happy Friday! I am so pleased to share this super stylish couple with you today, shot by the lovely Anna Hardy. Paul and Jonny chose to have their wedding ceremony in the beautiful conference hall in Manchester Town Hall followed by a fantastic reception in the cigar lounge at the Living Room Restaurant & Bar. The rooms were decorated with beautiful blooms from Blossom Flowers Manchester.

The whole day was styled around an Art Deco 1930’s theme, and accented with a Northern English, countryside, spring colour palette. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen two smarter, chicer looking chaps in my life! How handsome are they? Both Paul and Jonny wore gorgeous suits from Ted Baker and I absolutely love how each groom chose a suit to match his personality. I’m totally digging the bow tie vs. vest and tie combo, the colours and mix of patterns from each outfit.

Advice from the grooms:
Stay true to you both and keep as much of the day as secret as possible until the main event. Every loved one has an opinion on how your day should reflect you when really if you keep your ideas to yourself and have the confidence that you’re making the right decisions the day will be just perfect.

Any regrets?
We should have had our ceremony much earlier in the day so we had more time to celebrate after!

Best decision made:
Keeping the experience intimate. With a very small group of close family and friends our day was so very personal. We are private people and sharing the most wonderful day of our lives together so far with just the people who mean the most to us made it that even more special.

Thanks very much to Anna Hardy for sharing such a fabulous wedding and enjoy the weekend!!
